The funeral was beautiful. Especially, what you, the family, shared orally and by video. I can only echo your witness to Paul as a man of strong faith. And, it's powerful to see and hear how it's shaped all of you.

Dear Margaret, John & Susan, Anna, Paul. O theos Pavlos was such a quiet and calm encouragement to us. His prayer of blessing at our wedding meant so much. Though our visits were not many, they were special. We always felt so warmly welcomed and embraced by him. It was always a delight to hear him tell about Pontus and the family history. And his humble, caring ways conveyed so much love…whether it was untangling the way we were related or making us toast. As his apostolic namesake wrote in First Corinthians 1, we are praying for “grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” We know that our “Father of mercies and God of all comfort” will be with each of you in this time of sorrow. And especially at this season of Easter, we join you in following the legacy of o theos Pavlos by not trusting ourselves “but in God who raises the dead”… for it is Jesus “on whom we have set our hope!” Our thoughts are with you, with all our love and condolences – Brent & Lana Miller

Dear Margaret, John, Susan, Anna Sophia and Paul,
My family and I are so saddened to hear of the loss of this gentle, humble, loving man from your daily lives, but gladdened to know that he is amongst the "great cloud of witnesses" to the Living Savior to whom he, and his life, were a witness while yet on this earth. I will always remember the passion he had for the truth, and true history, and appreciate the time that he spent opening my eyes with his story-telling and touching my (and so many others') heart through his steadfast support of his children and grandchildren. May you be blessed as you continue his legacy of the compassionate, Christ-centered family.

Dear Amanatides Family, we are so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. It was pleasure to have met Paul and he made us feel proud to learn about our Greek heritage as we tried to learn about our roots. He always had a big smile and a great sense of humor as he would tell us stories about the past. He was a great and kind man, may he rest in peace!
